Free holiday planning

Holiday itinerary planner

Plan your holiday day by day. Get ideas for flights, places to stay and things to do, book them where you like, then add them to your trip log. It lays out your whole trip, day by day, with a budget built from what you actually paid. No more juggling browser tabs, notes and screenshots: it's a holiday planner, trip planner and travel itinerary in one.

Build your holiday itinerary in five steps

Your dates and travellers carry through every step, so the ideas you see fit your trip, and your itinerary shows what it really costs.

  1. Plan the trip

On the Plan page, pick where you're going from and to (any town, UK postcode or airport), your dates, who's coming and how you're getting there.

  2. Open your trip log

It asks if you've booked your travel, your stay and things to do. Already booked? Add it straight away.

  3. Get ideas and book

Not booked yet? See flights for your dates, places to stay, bookable tours, famous sights nearby and the typical weather. Book on the company's own site.

  4. Add it to your trip

Add each booking, or your own plans, on the day you choose. Paste a confirmation email and it fills in the details. Your itinerary and budget build up from the real prices.

  5. Print or save as a PDF

Print your itinerary or save it as a PDF to take with you, with every booking and reference in one place.

Every day of your trip, at a glance

Your trip log lays out each day of the holiday from what you've added: when your flight leaves, when you check in, the morning walking tour, and the days you've kept free for the beach.

Each booking carries the price you paid for your whole group, so your budget shows what's spent and what's left before you book the next thing.

Questions about the itinerary planner

Is the holiday itinerary planner free?

Yes. Single trips are free to plan in full, as many as you like: where to stay, how to get there, a day-by-day itinerary and the budget. The Deal Club adds multi-centre tours, holiday deals from your own airport and sync across your devices.

Can I add my own plans to the itinerary?

Yes. In your trip log, under Things to do, add anything you like to any day, such as a restaurant, a beach day or a show, with what it costs your group (or £0 if it's free) and a link if you want one. It shows in your day-by-day plan and counts towards your budget. You can also tap Add to my ideas on the Things to do page: ideas show on your plan with their pictures, and only count towards your budget once you've booked them.

Where do the tours and activities come from?

We show bookable tours and activities from travel partners, with their prices, plus well-known sights near where you're staying. When you book, you book directly with the provider. Some links are affiliate links: if you book through them we may earn a small commission, at no extra cost to you.

Can I print or share my itinerary?

Yes. From your trip log you can print the trip or save it as a PDF, and add the dates to your phone or computer calendar.

Is this a trip planner or a travel planner?

Both. Whatever you call it, it plans the whole trip: how you get there, where you stay, what you do each day and what it all costs. It's made for UK holidaymakers, with prices in pounds.

Does it work on my phone?

Yes. The planner works on phones, tablets and computers, and you can add it to your phone's home screen like an app. Once it has loaded, it keeps working without a signal.
