Shaz Does Holidays
The short version
- The planner stores your trips and settings on your device. That is essential, so it needs no permission.
- One optional extra only runs if you click Accept: the Meta and TikTok pixels, which help us see whether our adverts on Facebook, Instagram and TikTok work.
- If you click Reject, neither loads, and the website and planner work exactly the same.
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small files a website saves on your device. We also use similar things your browser provides, such as local storage and session storage, which work in much the same way. We call all of these "cookies" below to keep things simple.
2. Essential storage (no permission needed)
These make the planner work. Without them it couldn't remember your trips. We don't need your permission for them.

3. Optional tracking (only if you accept)

4. Other companies you connect to
- Google Fonts supplies our typefaces. It doesn't set cookies for this, but Google can see your IP address when a page loads.
- Aviasales (airline logos) and Cloudflare (QR code tools when you use sync) can also see your IP address when you load them.
- The trip map (OpenFreeMap map tiles and the map code from Cloudflare) only loads when you open "See your trip on a map". It sets no cookies, but those services can see your IP address when it loads.
- Hotel and tour photos in your results come straight from the services that supplied them, which can see your IP address when they load.
- Facebook, Instagram and TikTok. Our follow links are plain links, so these companies set nothing on your device until you click one and visit their site, where their own cookie policies apply. (The optional Meta and TikTok pixels above are separate and only run if you accept.)
- Booking and travel websites you click through to are separate sites. They may set their own cookies, and their own cookie policies apply.

5. Your choice
Checking your choice…
You can change your mind at any time with these buttons, or from the Cookie settings link at the bottom of every page and the planner. Changing from Accept to Reject stops the optional scripts loading from then on. Cookies already saved on your device stay until you remove them in your browser's settings.
You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block essential storage, the planner won't be able to remember your trips.
6. Changes
If we add or change anything that uses cookies, we will update this page, and ask for your permission again where the law requires it.
